TAC Policies

General Policies:

We are not responsible or liable for any damage or breaking of The Average Cakery's items/orders once they leave our possession.

Pre-Sale orders require payment in full during the pre-sale period.  No refunds will be given for orders that are not picked up.

All sales are FINAL and NONREFUNDABLE.

 

Pickup and Delivery Policies:

Orders are available for pickup at a predetermined location at a predetermined time, or for delivery with an extra free.

For predetermined location pickups: Please be aware of your chosen pickup time.  It is your responsibility to ensure timely and prompt pick up, if you do not show up for pickup within 30 minutes past your chosen pickup time, The Average Cakery reserves the right to resell your order without providing a refund to you.

Because we operate under WA State Cottage Food Laws we are unable to ship at this time. 

Custom Order Policies:

A non refundable 50% retainer is required to hold the date for all custom orders, to be paid within 72 hours of booking.  If the date is less than 14 days away, payment in full is required to hold the spot.  A rush fee may apply.

Payment in full is required 14 days prior to your order date.  Orders not paid in full by this time will be automatically cancelled.

Orders cancelled within 7 days or less of the event will not receive a refund or credit of any kind.

Orders cancelled 14 days prior to their event may have the option to put their retainer towards a new order, up to the discretion of The Average Cakery.

The Average Cakery understands that many things come up and that sometimes plans change.  While we are sympathetic to these unplanned circumstances, we are unable to absorb the financial responsibility of last minute cancellations and have planned our policies accordingly.

By checking the box on the checkout page, you are certifying that all information provided in your custom order is accurate and correct.  Colors, names, dates, spelling etc, and The Average Cakery is not responsible for any mistakes/errors not corrected by you before checkout.
